Haphazard Studios: Gallery 346
January 2011 — November 2013
I was the manager for a local aspiring artist. Since it was a live in gallery where the Artist lived on-site, I was responsible for managing his expenses, as well as the gallery's cost of operation. I pioneered his new website, expanded his accepted forms of communication with Pay Pal and ability to accept credit cards, thus allowing his work to be purchased all over the world. I marketed his art and commission business through the creation of his personal website and Facebook and created a virtual online market place to purchase his online work. Over the course of the year, I fully operated and managed the gallery/loft above and beyond my previous skill set, and in turn I landed him over a dozen gallery shows, and increased his Print Sales from non-existent to an average of 30 or 40 a month. I also increased his commission sales from 2 or 3 commissions a month, to a surplus of 15-20 requests a month.
