While I was still studying I began to write periodicals for the weekly paper. It started out as a new assignment for one of my courses - how to write for a weekly paper - and led to a number of published periodicals and an extensive contact network within the magazine -and publishing branch.

One day, I was approached by a library that asked me where they could order my novels. The next day, another library got in touch followed by a dozen readers. I had to write to a publisher and ask: What do I do now? Adapt your periodicals to a novel and let me know when you’re done, was the response I received. The result was the novel that is now awaiting its final title.
