Volunteer leader for non-profit Christian organization focused on outreach and investing in the lives of local high school students. Consistent contact work, relational ministry, facilitating weekly group activities, producing programming, coordinating events, and leading on camp trips.

Communications Specialist

Facilitate and lead the development of Remedy Safe Water, an initiative Water Missions International to capitalize on the movement and social power of the Millennial generation (ages 12-27) by providing a gateway for engagement in the work and mission of Water Missions International. This initiative seeks to create brand-loyalty among this generation to develop and cultivate these agents for change into active donors and bearers of the Water Missions International name and a mission. http://www.watermissions.org/remedy

Development Intern

Project management, creative development for ideas and concepts, helped work on a facebook campaign for the Chase Community Giving Campaign, covered a weekly prayer update e-mail, and got to be a part of development and strategic planning training and consultation by the The Winkler Group. For three months I had the opportunity to see tasks through to completion, and to get the ball rolling on other large projects, like updating general marketing and communication pieces.

Student Staff

Helped organized a skeet shoot fundraiser, planned and implemented an all-area club program for hundreds of high school students, helped plan leadership development meetings for volunteer leaders and assisted in administrative tasks in the area office, which supports 11 teams of volunteer leaders and serves thousands of high school students.

Summer Staff, Ropes Course

Facilitated a high ropes adventure course. Was responsible for safety of every camper on the course, instructed and encouraged campers through the course, and operated zip-lines and safety equipment. Skills required were technical understanding, constant communication, patience, attention to detail, alert focus, and relational sociability. Daily requirement to be winsome, patient, and direct to convince a terrified camper to trust his equipment and our words in order to jump off of a platform 35 feet above ground, and then know what to do when he gets to the next platform.

Tennis Pro Shop Staff

Managed reservation books for an 18-court facility and 25+ clinics and lessons daily during peak seasons, catered to members, provided guest services for a world-class resort, assisted the Director of Tennis in administrative tasks, and managed retail aspects of the pro shop, from the register to selling equipment.
