Developed and maintain a live Excel tracking database of expenditures for over 50 grants and five separate team budgets.
Liaise and coordinate with finance, development, and program staff to create budgets, grant reports, and to resolve financial questions; and with the communications team for all web related projects and project manage the restructuring of the website.
Created, implemented, and maintain social media strategy: Grew the @NRDCWater following 444% over two years and helped our blogs reach over 1,400 Facebook likes.
Edit, research, and draft legal petitions, technical documents, reports, and publications; write blogs (switchboard.nrdc.org/blogs/akheyfets).
Create materials and presentations for submission to donors, board members, and conferences.
Plan and execute workshops, meetings, and conferences of up to 40 attendees, including representatives of elected officials, public agencies, and community organizations, on behalf of donors.
Maintain legal pleading clips and correspondence files, grant files (electronic and hard copy), and deadline calendars.
Interview, hire, and manage legal interns. Volunteer as an emergency floor warden and on the office social committee.
