I graduated from the Brock School of Business with a major in entrepreneurship and minor in journalism & mass communications. While at Samford University, I have maintained a 3.5 GPA throughout my four years while participating in several active organizations.

My sophomore year I was the Copy Editor for the Samford Crimson, our campus newspaper. The last semester of my sophomore year and first semester of my junior year I was the Director of Campus Activities for my sorority and was able to coordinate university athletic tailgating events for our 150-members within my given budget. I had the privilege of serving as the Director of Public Relations for Samford's Panhellenic Council, the governing council over the 750 women that are in sororities on campus. Now as a senior, I am the Vice President of Communication for Samford's American Marketing Association.

I have always enjoyed taking leadership positions in organizations that I participate in during my years at Samford.

During my time at Big Communications I was responsible for drafting press releases, maintaining client websites, conducting research for clients, proofreading collateral documents, coordinating promotional items and completing administrative tasks.

I worked for clients in multiple industries, including Verizon Wireless, the Southeastern Conference, Disney on Ice, Greater Birmingham Convention & Visitors Bureau, Alabama Seafood Marketing Commission, Alabama Construction Recruitment Institute and Cooper Green Hospital.

Panhellenic Council's Director of Public Relations

I developed and executed our 2012 communications plan for Samford University’s 750-member Panhellenic organization.

I planned and educated university administrators, staff, parents and students about activities, promoted and executed the recruitment process involving more than 325 potential new members and promoted student involvement.

Lastly, I grew our Facebook page to 375 likes and grew Twitter follows by 73%. I designed promotional collateral and advertisements and drafted press releases.
