Continued coordination of a curriculum-focused, one-to-one literacy tutoring program for 50 struggling readers in grades 1-5 at a Title I school. Ongoing monitoring of student progress through qualitative observations and quantitative assessment scores. Implementation of research-based learning tools and resources to address individual students’ learning needs and differentiate instruction. Utilized SalesForce to monitor student progress.
Management of 55 community volunteers, including ongoing training and support of their role as reading tutors. Coaching and observation of volunteers regarding best literacy practices. Collaboration with teachers and parents to maximize student achievement.
Continued participation in bi-monthly training on literacy best practices, student achievement, differentiating instruction, child development, and additional education-related topics.
