I believe in second chances. I believe in challenging status quo. I am passionate about inspiring women, bringing them together, and teaching them the skills to achieve their wildest dreams.

"It doesn't interest me what you do for a living. I want to know what you ache for – and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart's longing. It doesn't interest me how old you are. I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool – for love – for your dreams – for the adventure of being alive." — Oriah Mountain Dreamer

Steve Harvey: Why Your Talent Isn't Always Your Gift

After listening to his interview with Oprah, I gained more perspective into my own self than ever before. The first step to reaching your full potential, Steve says, is to understand the difference between your talent and your gift.

"I discovered then that the two most important days in life are the day you were born and the day you find out why."

Account Executive

Hustle and hustle more | I joined 1-Page as the first employee with little business experience, but my CEO saw my willingness to learn and work hard.

Our small team was international and learned to collaborate with a global perspective. There were times I found myself questioning whether I was sane to be working as much as I did or sacrifice as much as I did, but in the end, it was all worth it. Every day I was pushed out of my comfort zone and I quickly began to thrive in the unpredictable and volatile start-up world. Two years later, we went public and have broken numerous global records. I have directly contributed to 80% of all sales by bringing in Fortune 500 clients with zero marketing and demand generation.

Levo League

Chapter Leader, San Francisco Bay Area

As the leader of Local Levo SF, I’m here to create experiences that put the women of SF in control of their career.

With a member base of 2,000 women, I plan events that bring together the city's most ambitious millennials. Our community continues to grow and if you haven't joined already, be sure to do so!

Creative Recruiter

This was my first "real" job after college that was not related to publishing. We were at the height of Silicon Valley's Wild West and business was cutthroat. I helped creative people get jobs at some of the top agencies in the US.

VonChurch is a boutique recruiting agency specializing in Advertising, Games, Film, Television, and Creative industries.

Three Strikes Justice Center

Volunteer, Marketing and Fundraising Committee

I'm from a small town that borders Oakland and attended one of the most diverse high schools in the US. It was a tough school and witnessed firsthand how easy it is for people to fall into the system and how difficult it is to get out. Helping families reunite with inmates who have been swept under the rug by society via Prop 36.

Bryan Stevenson: We need to talk about an injustice

In an engaging and personal talk -- with cameo appearances from his grandmother and Rosa Parks -- human rights lawyer Bryan Stevenson shares some hard truths about America's justice system, starting with a massive imbalance along racial lines: a third of the country's black male population has been incarcerated at some point in their lives.

GLIDE Kitchen

I volunteered alongside with 1-Page co-workers at GLIDE Kitchen in downtown San Francisco. GLIDE’s program is the only one in SF to provide three nutritious meals a day, 364 days a year, to the city’s poor, homeless, and hungry. Their mission? To “fill your body and soul with a nourishing meal in an atmosphere of respect, acceptance and love.”

Changing the Course

A one-time event where I volunteered for Changing the Course and Wat Opot Children's Community in Cambodia; a rural Community Development Program in Sustainable Agriculture and Youth Empowerment. Raised funds to help alleviate poverty by giving long-term practical skills, environmental education and confidence to the rural population disenfranchised and impacted by HIV/AIDS.

Safely Home

Safely Home fights modern-day slavery at a local level, serving the Bay Area community. Our goal is to bring hope, restoration, and a new life to survivors of child human-trafficking by bringing them back to the safety of their parent's homes or other safe homes.

San Francisco State University

B.A., Journalism, Magazine Writing

As a first-generation Filipina-American, my parents taught me I had the responsibility and social obligation to give back to this country, starting with our local community. To me, I knew I could accomplish this through writing.

Being the competitive person I am, I wanted to go bigger. I wanted to not just change my community but change the world: one story at a time. My ultimate goal was to represent those overlooked and use my access to media to serve as a megaphone for the voiceless.

THIS VIDEO. I believe that anyone can change their life and achieve their wildest dreams. The journey to get to that, however, is beyond challenging and will test your limits. If you ever find yourself questioning your ability to obtain your dreams, you need to watch this motivational video.
