Responsible for a high volume store with annual sales exceeding $70 million; ensure a team of 50+ individuals are productive and the store is meeting brand standards on a daily basis. Continuously maintain and improve overall customer experience and drive customer loyalty.
•Achieve yearly sales goals and maintain budget controls through close management and consistent assessment of overall store operations.
•Appropriately prioritize and drive continuous improvement in the areas of profit formula to impact total store profitability and company EBIT.
•Collaborate with ETL team, district resources, senior leaders, headquarters teams and vendors while proactively leveraging company tools, reports and best practice to meet or beat operational goals.
•Quickly identify and implement solutions to any in-stock, presentation, pricing, signing or process issues.
•Manage markdowns, shortage and payroll within goals to capture additional sales and decrease liabilities.
•Manage additional store projects and initiatives including electronics & entertainment innovation, Target.com pick up test & rollout, multi-channel & mobile strategies, seasonal transitions, weekly store communication, and holiday preparedness.
•Participate in the performance management process which includes recognizing, coaching, providing meaningful feedback, writing and delivering counseling and corrective actions, and writing and delivering performance reviews.
•Analyze performance results and implement creative, strategic action plans to develop team members and achieve performance goals.
•Assist in the recruiting, hiring, on-boarding, training and development of employees.
