I joined Mane Addicts 6 months after it's inception when the need to expand beyond a basic beauty blog presented itself. Immediately I began working alongside CEO and founder, Jen Atkin, to develop the brands most identifiable programs. The first major brand mainstay to be developed was the innovative celebrity "Mane Muse" feature. Responsible for creative pre thru post production I booked teams, managed budgets, and partnered with the art department to ensure all direction stayed relevant to market trends of the release date. I also began the initiative to co-publish features with partnering outlets increasing viewership of the features over 15x. Featured talent included: Zendaya, Shay Mitchell, Ashley Tisdale, Kelly Rowland, Jordana Brewster, Jenna Dewan Tatum, Elisha Cuthbert, Jessica Szohr, Holland Roden, Kat Graham, Kaley Cuoco, Shelley Hennig, and more.
My current initiative is "Mane University", a furthered education platform for hair professionals. Mane University gives hair professionals access to the industries leading celebrity, editorial, and salon artists. The first year increased brand profitability exponentially and has continued to flourish. With current development of a digital space Mane University will soon be available to stylists around the globe with the click of a button which will increase revenue tenfold.
Additionally, I am spearheading the development of Mane Addicts branded product. Merchandise is currently available to Mane Addicts insiders and Mane University students and soon will be available to be masses.
