Brown University Office of Undergraduate Admission
September 2012 — Present
I work from the front desk of the Admissions Office, and serve as the first point of contact between applicants and their parents and the Admissions Office staff. I answer the phone, help organize mail, respond to the e-mails, and perform any other task needed around the office. I act as the student liaison for the Brown Alumni Association to answer questions from interviewers and applicants about Brown and the admissions process.
Lower East Side Tenement Museum
Marketing and Communications Intern
June 2012 — August 2012
I developed and edited content for the Tenement Museum blog, and organized a Content Calendar for blog posts from June to September 2012. My work is linked on my Websites, under "Tenement Museum." I managed the Tenement Museum Facebook page and generated content to post through that platform. I drafted pitches for the upcoming Shop Life exhibit, and created a contact list of local and national publications to send the pitch to. I also helped with various projects for other departments, including compiling information on school group attendance from the past fiscal year for the Education Department.

I am trained to handle delicate objects, mostly archeological artifacts, and to serve as a resource for students and researchers that visit the Haffenreffer Museum of Anthropology at Brown University. This is a volunteer position.
Brown Pre-College Program
June 2011 — August 2011
For eight weeks, I resided in a dormitory as a supervisor and mentor to high school students participating in the three-week courses of the Summer@Brown Pre-College Program. Along with assisting with weekly orientations and participating in 24-hour on-call duty rotations for emergencies, I organized, facilitated, and chaperoned events on- and off-campus for the high school students.
