Events and Web Coordinator

- Responsible for organizing and coordinating Novasep’s presence in more than 75 events per year worldwide.
- Planned the participation of Novasep in scientific conferences, exhibitions and other events in coordination with the head of marketing, market and sales directors, and business development managers to define the strategy and level of participation.
- In charge of negotiating rates, packages and contract terms with event organizers.
- Managed a budget of €500.000 per year and prepared the budget proposal for events in 2012.
- Oversaw the activities of supporting event coordinators in the US and China.
- Liaison between Novasep’s marketing managers, communications agency, stand builders and other suppliers.



Consultant, Inter-American Committee on Ports (CIP)

As a consultant for the CIP, I was in charge of supervising the execution, by the member states, of the activities of the 2009 work plan approved in the Executive Board’s meeting. Specifically the activities of: El Salvador, Panama Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, Uruguay and Venezuela.

As the web manager, I was responsible for selecting and reviewing the information and content published on the CIP’s Website (press releases, reports from our subcommittees and technical advisory groups, port news, CIP’s newsletter, among others)

In addition, I collaborated in the organization of the Sixth General Meeting of the Committee (Panama 2010), the Tenth and Eleventh Meeting of the Executive Board (Argentina 2009 and Panama 2010), First Convention on Environmental Port Protection (Brazil 2009) and several other seminars, courses and activities (Spain, Dominican Republic, Peru).

Other key responsibilities included:Management of the CIP’s contact database, supervision of technical projects (website on hemispheric port statistics and investments) and assistance in administrative functions (coordination with suppliers and port authorities)
