Draft, review, & modify contracts and licensing agreements; prepare research memoranda on arts
and non-profit topics; research estate planning topics for literature review; & conduct intake interviews with clients for legal services organization serving arts & non-profit communities. Attended & assisted with Arts & Business Council of Greater Boston events, including non-profit incorporation seminars,
human resources symposium, Business on Board training, & annual fundraiser.
Worked as legal intern from May-August 2013 and continue to volunteer.
Facilitated laboratory and computerized experiments for studies on social networking, prejudice, risk-reducing behavior and intra-relationship sexual behavior. Collected and recorded data, managed and debriefed participants and attended weekly lab meetings.
Conducted, transcribed, edited, & contextualized historical interviews for Library of Congress Veterans History Project, created podcasts for streaming on iTunes & website, designed publicity materials & promoted events, particularly “An Evening with the Dues: Pioneers of the Civil Rights Movement.”
Led approximately 7,000 incoming students through orientation with focus on at-risk and Honors students. Mentored students; built class schedules; gave presentations to students and families about topics such as financial planning and campus involvement; worked closely with faculty and staff from all departments to ensure students’ successful transitions into college. Worked 65 hours per week with 37 other orientation leaders. Enrolled in intensive training course from January-May 2010.
