Marketing Project Coordinator

As a project coordinator I manage the marketing needs for a minimum of 10 high profile departments in the University, including Human Resources, University Police, and all special projects or unique events that the University hosts. I delegate project needs to fellow team members and set realistic timelines for each step of development, from brainstorming, to design, and through printing or publishing. I negotiate with external vendors to secure pricing and production for print pieces and promotional items, as well as unique items like metal wall hangings and web development. I was also chosen to be the teams "Super User" to act as a liaison between the marketing department and our IT development teams. Teaching direct mail, event marketing, print marketing, digital marketing, and athletic media guide production skills, I acted as a mentor and trainer to newly hired entry-level employees, as well as working directly with our student intern.
