Norwood Promotional Products

Introduced the Internet to Businesses - I think it kinda worked...

My 1999 - 2001 MOST INNOVATIVE AND FORWARD THINKING COMPANY AWARD goes to Norwood Promotional Products. Working for this company changed my life. They introduced to me the understanding that Strategy and Vision CAN Change Everything.

In 2001, I was honored to work virtually within a team of insightful and passionate visionaries who understood what applying teamwork and innovation could do within a company. Our launch of individualized distributor websites changed our industry forever. It is only fitting that the Norwood Corporate University taught me the term "Paradigm Shift."

Traveled throughout the United States presenting seminars that introduced our distributors to the opportunities of moving their business process online. Organizationally, I took part in educating 13 subsidiaries of how the internet was going to change the way we do business. Additionally, Norwood provided my first introduction to organizational development as our training team took on the initiative of easing the culture change issues through mergers and acquisitions.

WHAT I LEARNED AND HELPED IMPLEMENT: Internet web marketing, web presence, online relationship building, virtual collaboration, team building training, tenets of great leadership, empowered employee life skills. Through this organization, I became privy to understanding what makes a GREAT Marketing Experience and a productive virtual team.
