Adirondack Lakefront Village

President and Owner

Entrepreneurial spirit won out and I made the move to work for myself full time joining a cottage industry in Cooperstown, NY, known as Dreams Park. Built in 1901, and currently pending National Historic designation, our primary property is Adirondack Lakefront Village, but it's known locally as The Grand Dame of Goodyear Lake. My husband and I also recently converted an historic one-room schoolhouse, built in 1864 (when Abraham Lincoln was president!) into a 6 bed/3 bath rental property. Both provide outstanding summer vacations for the Baseball Hall of Fame's Dreams Park visitors, with a specific target audience of families of baseball. I'm proud to say that all those years in hospitality marketing have paid off and we are consistently rated the highest in guest satisfaction and are sold out months in advance. We are also proud that most of our guests are repeats. (see cooperstownstay.com). I like to steal a quote and say 'I treat this entrepreneurial experience as an MBA with a paycheck."
