o Process Scheduling Orders, Dismissal Orders, Compensation Orders, Remand Orders, Orders to Grant Attorney Fees and Orders to Show Cause for twelve Judges utilizing the Send Suite Desktop program.
o Create claimant files by utilizing the PeopleFirst electronic case log database to include the following: case number; formal hearing date; formal hearing time; claimant information; employer information; hearing information and appeal information.
o Review claimant compensation orders to ascertain closing dates and enter dates in the PeopleFirst database.
o Research law, investigate facts and prepare documents to assist Judges.
o Prepare and maintain claimant case correspondence and document files.
o Participate and assisting in preparation for hearings by compiling, organizing,
and indexing various evidentiary exhibits.
o Review Applications for Formal Hearings to create the Claimant Docket form.
o Schedule Formal Hearing Appointments utilizing a shared calendar.
o Maintain a weekly Excel Hearing and Adjudication Application tracking log for new claims to include the following: Claimant Name; Docket Number; Date Received; Date Assigned to a Judge; Formal Hearing Date and Judge Name.
o Respond to Subpoena requests.
o Prepare draft Dismissal Notices.
o Telephone law offices to confirm/finalize dates for formal hearings.
