Safe Horizon

Intern, Research and Evaluation

I had the opportunity to support an organization that combats things such as Intimate Partner Violence, Sexual Assault, and Youth Homelessness, and empowers individuals in those situations by providing them with the tools they need to control their own situations. With research and program evaluation, I help guarantee that the tools provided are the best they can possibly be.

Rhodes College

Bachelor of Arts, Urban Studies; Political Science

Attending a liberal arts college in the urban south allowed me access to excellent professors, focused attention, while also giving me the chance to be actively involved in my campus and community. I did this through involvement as a orientation leader, psychology research assistant, economics tutor, sorority recruitment guidance counselor, cofounder of an anti-sexual assault student group, as well as through independent research throughout the city on public education in Memphis.
