• Providing direction and leadership to technical teams, potentially drawing on expertise from the broader Optus business when targeting major opportunities and developing associated proposals. This includes responsibility for supporting complex major accounts whose commercial needs require sophisticated, innovative and integrated business solutions.
• Taking responsibility for providing professional enterprise-wide design and consultancy services to develop innovative ‘whole-of-business’ relationships on an ongoing basis and address customer business requirements through technology, application and services.
• Act as the overall solution owner for all streams of a major customer engagement, covering ongoing relationship and major offer stages and provide a key link between the sales process, product capability owners, and implementation teams.
• Work towards obtaining a detailed understanding of both the Customer's ICT environment and that of market competitors to ensure that Optus can provide effective competitive comparisons and strategic solutions. Work with product management, customer engineering and marketing to customise product offerings.
