Responsible for managing the development and evolution of Bloomberg’s on-terminal news classification, quantitative analytics and social media products. Partnering with R&D, Sales, and Marketing to develop client facing functionality aimed at uncovering meaningful trends and insight, streamlining user workflows and improving access to real-time market moving news.
Oversaw the development and release of the Twitter platform on the Bloomberg Terminal enabling users to access a stream of twitter content on companies and financial topics of interest to them as well as the ability to be alerted to trends in social velocity and sentiment.
Worked closely with translation teams and machine learning experts to deploy on-demand story translation in key languages.
Led initiatives aimed at improving news content indexing and classification processes increasing accuracy of client search results.
Partnered with developers and internal stakeholders on the development of a Hedge Fund Mandates Marketplace, making it possible for users to search institutional investment mandates and identify leads, helping to increase the penetration of Bloomberg within Marketing and IR departments.
Promoted Bloomberg News functionality and content to clients and internal users. Met with clients and conducted training to demonstrate features and solicit feedback.
