Baxter Academy is a rigorous, college-preparatory high school, opening September 2013, promoting student ownership of learning through curriculum focused specifically on science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM). Baxter Academy students study complex, real-world problems, using and building technological tools in a collaborative environment with scientists, engineers and other professionals.

Coordinate community organizing, group facilitation, and grant administration in partnership with two school districts and nine towns to promote health through access to healthy food and physical activity. Initiatives include systems for incorporating local food into school lunches, school gardens, walking trails, and wellness policies.
