I am also often asked to perform triage duties which includes assessing patient medication requests, speaking with patients about their care on the phone, and determining what actions our patients should take in ocular emergency situations.
Two times a week I perform scribe duties with the doctor while maintaining a steady flow of patients in and out of examination rooms.
I have been professionally trained and become highly skilled at conducting many diagnostic tests including; manual refraction, fundus photography, Humphry visual field, topography, pachymetry, tonometry, kerotometry and lensometry.
