Center for Respite Care, Inc.

Program and Administrative Coordinator

Working for this growing non-profit I was often needed to fulfill the job requirements of multiple employees due to lack of funding for a full staff. My daily tasks varied greatly from day to day but regularly included; meeting with new clients and understanding key needs and coordinating medical and social plans with staff team members. Coordinate weekly team meetings discussing client needs, status of clients’ care and discharge plan for each client. Work with medical and program staff to improve effectiveness of the whole team, identify & clear roadblocks, monitor information for licensing, monitor outcomes, report outcomes regularly to board. Maintain and update online HMIS database tracking of client intakes, exits and medical encounters on a timely basis. Assist Director of Development on annual campaign, grants, grant reports and other fundraising tasks. Track data for grants and board reporting. Supervise a team of assistants to help with office duties, volunteer coordination, and housing program. Maintain petty cash , client cash, and client mail. Coordinate bi-monthly board meetings and monthly sub committee meetings, compile board packets, take minutes at meetings.
