Volunteer Coordinator and Instructor

Leads recruitment and training of all volunteers, and oversees all current volunteer projects. Teaches a minimum of 30 students weekly from ages 4 to 78. Writes lesson plans and keeps up to date progress notes on every student. Has working knowledge of disabilities and strategies to teach to each one, as well as appropriate horse choice to benefit student short and long term goals. Leads and pursues successful grant writing for program. Exceptional verbal and written skills and regularly represents the program publicly through a variety of outlets. Assists in training and conditioning horses, herd health, organizing fundraising, and financial responsibilities.
