Burlington Township Public Schools

Math Academic Achievement Teacher

It was a joy to have at risk students find the fun in mathematics! This position gave me plenty of opportunities to help build students' confidence in their math skills but within themselves as well. This position allowed me to teach to the whole child and provide my students with a better foundation for learning.

Mt. Holly Public School

Library Teaching Assistant

Working in this avenue of education allowed me to see the importance of media and library studies and their effect on the other content areas. It showed me that elementary aged students should experience the joy of reading daily, as well as, have the opportunity to learn how to research properly and use different text sources to find information.

B.S., Elementary Education

Having the opportunity to go to the University of Maryland, allowed me to fully realize my love for learning. My years at this school have helped me understand my impact as a person, as a student of this world, and as an educator. It helped me see that the best educators are the ones who are constantly growing and learning along with their students.

The Language House Prague

TEFL Certification

Attending the Language House allowed me to not only gain my TEFL certification but gave me the opportunity to grow as a teacher. I feel that I am now able to teach to the needs of many more students. This will allow me, to continue, to make my classrooms inclusive and engaging.
