Appleseed Communications, LLC

I'm the founder of Master the Media and Appleseed, the first "one for one" PR agency that helps visionary entrepreneurs get the attention they deserve. Every client we serve helps support a woman business owner in developing nations, such as the Philippines or Uganda.

We've worked with best-selling authors, CEOs of multimillion dollar companies, TEDx speakers, social innovators, and more. We have helped our clients get featured in outlets including Entrepreneur, FOX Business, MSNBC, Huffington Post Live, Fast Company, Forbes, Inc, TIME, New York Post.

Bloom, Lovely

This product was created by Ashley Crouch and a team of women entrepreneurs as a response to the problem. Ashley spent years in Manhattan in the fashion and media industry, working with models, photo shoots, at Fashion Week, pitching stories for press, and writing articles. In the process, she learned how limiting messages about beauty in the media sabotage women's self-esteem.

Ashley wanted to create a product that would educate women and be a fun, daily companion to remind women of their worth every day. Incorporating her own proven techniques, and drawing from years of experience, Bloom, Lovely reaches women where they are and helps them feel beautiful, empowered, and equipped to live their best life.

“I didn't know what I wanted to do, but I always knew the woman I wanted to be.” ― Diane Von Furstenberg

Verily Magazine

PR Manager and Contributing Editor

I was on the founding team for women's lifestyle publication, Verily Magazine. Verily is the first "No Photoshop" fashion magazine for women, dedicated to celebrating the best of who women are. Working day in and day out in Manhattan, I took a deep dive into the media and entrepreneurship scene in New York. It was such a powerful experience working along with friends to give modern women content that truly reflects their lives. As a print magazine, Verily was in Barnes & Noble around the country and sold out. In its current digital form, Verily accesses women worldwide with over 1 million monthly visitors. It was one of the initial sparks that ignited the "real beauty" movement, which caught fire in 2012 / 2013 and continues today.

The Power of Vulnerability

Brene Brown's reflections on vulnerability changed the way I live, love, and work. She challenged me to push passed boundaries, commit to daily learning, explore the messiness of creativity, and give up perfectionism to replace it with discovery.
