Every week, we conduct an interview with top executives as part of our Office Hours series. Listen to advice and ideas from role models such as Sheryl Sandberg, Warren Buffett, and Kate White. This is a weekly look at some of our amazing future speakers. Read this article before watching us live!

Who he is: Since the early 1990s, Kevin Spacey has acted in films, but his rise to household name status truly began when he appeared in the Netflix original series House of Cards in 2013. In case you’ve been hiding under a rock, the program follows Kevin Spacey’s character, Frank Underwood, as he strives for political power in modern-day Washington, D.C., which is chronicled.

Why you should watch: What fewer people know is that Spacey began his career as a stage actor and that theater was always his first love. In our interview, he tells Levo CEO Caroline Ghosn, “In film or television, no matter how good an actor might be, they will never be any better. And in theater, I could be better next week.” Spacey is present artistic director at The Old Vic Theatre in London. He started in 2003 and has been working to improve its audience and quality ever since.

Kevin Spacey is not only an actor, but he’s also a passionate mentor. He founded the Kevin Spacey Foundation to help new and old actors around the world reach their potential. As he said, “It’s something that [the mentees] will never forget for the rest of their lives, and it fills them with a confidence that they never knew they were capable of.”

In his own words: For me, it’s the desire to move forward that keeps me enthralled. And for me, that is what gets me out of bed in the morning.

Bonus fact: Jameson is his drink of choice.
