workweek-healthThe office can be one of the most challenging places to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Co-workers tend to bring cookies, candy, and other sugary temptations. How are we supposed to continuously say no? The office also creates a mentality around “treat rewards,” you know, the group trips for a midday sugary Starbucks or a Friday ice cream routine to celebrate hard work. While everyone deserves a brownie every once and a while, it is actually much more rewarding in the long run to avoid afternoon sugar crashes with healthy snacks and routine exercise. We talked to three nutrition and fitness experts on how they are staying healthy at work this fall and making proactive decisions to steer clear from cool weather treats (AKA pumpkin spice lattes).
